This policy explains what information Conch Games ("we", "us") collects when you visit conch.games or play our games on the web, Android or iOS, and how we use it. If you have a question, email hello@conch.games.
Information we collect
- Email address, only if you sign up for launch updates on this website. We use it to tell you when a game launches.
- Gameplay data, such as levels played, scores, session length and crashes. It isn't linked to your name.
- Device information, such as device model, operating system, country and an advertising or device identifier.
We don't ask for your name, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location.
How we use it
- To run the games and fix bugs and crashes.
- To understand which parts of a game are too easy, too hard or not fun, so we can improve them.
- To show ads, including optional rewarded ads that give you something in the game.
- To process in-app purchases, such as removing ads.
Services we work with
Our games use third-party services that may collect the information above under their own privacy policies. Depending on the game and platform, these may include:
- Analytics and crash reporting: GameAnalytics, Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics)
- Advertising: Google AdMob and web game portals' ad systems (for example CrazyGames)
- Purchases: Google Play Billing and Apple App Store
- Website hosting and email: Cloudflare
Ads and your choices
Where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or on iOS, we ask for your consent before showing personalised ads or tracking you across apps. You can change this at any time:
- On Android: Settings → Google → Ads, to reset or delete your advertising ID.
- On iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- In our games: the privacy option in the settings menu, where available.
Children
Our games aren't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.
How long we keep data
We keep launch-update emails until the game launches or until you ask us to remove you. Analytics data is kept only as long as it's useful for improving the games, under the retention settings of the services above.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and the EU GDPR, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent. Email hello@conch.games and we'll reply within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
